The overall building is structurally & acoustically sub-divided into 5 pieces. The floor & walls are completely separated between suites. Under the floor finish is a 1 ½” concrete slab placed on a 1/2” rubber mat to block impact noise from footsteps, ect. The gypsum board ceiling is suspended by a rubber gasket system also isolated from the structure.

The project is also registered with the Canadian Green Building Council and will be rated under LEED for Homes with a projected score of Gold.  See Thermalwise's web site for picture and details of the testing.
